Since its inception, New Art / New Music has featured the original work of Shepherd School of Music students inspired by new art on Rice’s campus. Offering real-world experience in organization, production, leadership, and advocacy, this program provides exceptional composers and musicians an avenue to create and play music reflective of their expertise in an inspiring and unique setting. This program is supported by the Libbie Rice Shearn Moody Fund for the Arts.
