Visitation to our off-site temporary installations and permanent art works varies by location. Please see our exhibition pages for the Tents, Platform, and Off the Wall series for locations and hours. Works in the Rice Public Art collection can be found here.

Driving + Parking
The Moody Center for the Arts is located on the campus of Rice University and is best reached by using Campus Entrance 8 at the intersection of University Boulevard and Stockton Street. As you enter campus, at the first intersection, the building is on the right. There is a dedicated parking lot, "Moody Lot," adjacent to the building. Payment for the Moody Lot is by credit card only. Additional parking options on campus are available at rice.edu/maps.

METRO bus + rail
The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, (METRO) provides bus and rail service from destinations around Houston. There is a METRORail stop across the street from the main entrance of the Rice campus is the Hermann Park/Rice University station.
Photo and Filming Policy
Personal Use
Still photography for personal use, including the use of smartphones, is permitted throughout the building except where otherwise posted.
The use of flash photography, tripods, and selfie sticks is prohibited.
Monetized Social and Online Media
Photography or filming in our galleries or outside of our building that is meant to generate content for monetized social media accounts, blogs, or websites is not permitted without permission.
Professional/Commercial Use
Photography for commercial use is not permitted without the express written permission of the Moody Center for the Arts. This includes the use of our building and exhibited artwork in professional portfolios as well as documentation for another client.
Journalists are welcome to visit the galleries and should contact the Moody for official publicity images of the building and programs or to coordinate shoots.
