Lee Clark
Senior Director of Exhibitions
Lee Clark joined Rice University’s Moody Center for the Arts in 2021. As Senior Director of Exhibitions, she is responsible for the management and execution of an ambitious exhibition program, including temporary installations across the Rice campus. She also oversees the conservation and maintenance of the Rice Public Art Collection, including the acquisition of new works and the development of site-specific commissions.
Clark’s career began at the Whitney Museum of American Art, where she coordinated site-specific installations and curatorial programming, including the 2004 and 2008 Biennials. She then spent nearly a decade in Los Angeles overseeing the development and production of large-scale projects within the fabrication realm of contemporary art. Clark holds certificates in project management from the California Institute of Technology and arts administration from New York University. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in art history from the University of Colorado Boulder.
