On November 16th, guests could meet the Paris-based, multidisciplinary artist Kapwani Kiwanga and enjoyed a guided walk through the exhibition. Kiwanga disscussed the three works on view: the installations, Maya-Bantu and Dune, which reflect on natural resources, and the video piece Vumbi that addresses the importance of human care for the environment, while concurrently grappling with nature’s inexorable forces.
