Join the Moody and the Shepherd School of Music for Hear&Now's first concert in James Turrell's "Twilight Epiphany" Skyspace. Musicians will perform as one sextet, and Skyspace will perform as the second sextet, creating integrated and interlocking rhythms and harmonies.

The program will open with "The Light Within" by John Luther Adams. Written for the Turrell Skyspace in Manhattan, this meditative work is inspired by the composer's own epiphany of light during an afternoon sitting in the Skyspace at MoMA PS1. The concert will continue with Philip Glass's "Music in Similar Motion" and conclude with Steve Reich's Pulitzer Prize winning work, "Double Sextet."
