Film Screening and Conversation: The Music of Strangers
Free and open to the public
The Music of Strangers from Oscar-winning director Morgan Neville follows five members of the Silkroad Ensemble as they explore the power of music to preserve tradition, shape cultural evolution, and inspire hope. Called " ... a joyous revelation ... an emblem of what people can do in these fractious times when they live in concert with one another," by the Wall Street Journal and nominated for a 2017 Grammy Award, the film introduces a new world of artistic possibility to audiences of all ages.
After the screening join members of Silkroad for a performance and discussion.
