Join us for a very special evening of live performances that will activate several of the music-based artworks in our current exhibition, Soundwaves: Experimental Strategies in Art + Music. 

Headlining this multidisciplinary event, artist Raven Chacon will lead musicians with the Shepherd School of Music and Houston-based Nameless Sound in an outdoor performance of his graphic score American Ledger No. 1. The program continues with a procession to the exhibition galleries led by dancer Joseph Stevens, wearing Nevin Aladag's Body Instruments where Shepherd School student Nick Finley will perform on Aladag's Resonator Percussion. Completing the music-filled evening will be punk guitarist Mad Whit activating Naama Tsabar's Transitions.
