The Moody is pleased to host Rice Architecture Construct's Six Projects on Accessory Dwelling, a pop-up exhibition of current research and building. Experience +House, a 350 square foot secondary dwelling built by students for Agape, a Third Ward outreach program. Learn about Accessory, five speculative proposals for garage apartments prototyped at the Moody. Discover how a type of informal housing is being adapted to address issues of affordability, sustainability, and social change.

Construct, Rice Architecture’s design-build program, challenges students to contribute directly to the built environment, working with community partners to create projects with lasting effects and resources for those they serve while building knowledge through research and experience.

This pop-up exhibition is on view in the Moody's Creative Open Studio through September 22, 2018.
