Join us for a performance by artist Jarrod Beck, who will create objects and a processional performance, beginning at the Moody, in response to Michael Heizer’s monolithic granite work 45°, 90°, 180°, 1984.

Building on the Heizer sculpture’s history as a feat of engineering, Beck’s collaborative performance will function as a material procession with project participants, beginning at the Moody Center for the Arts and culminating with new work presented in the Engineering Quad, where Heizer’s monoliths for Rice are permanently located.

This event is free and open to the public.
