On September 15th, guests joined us to celebrate Laure Prouvost's first solo exhibition in Texas, Above Front Tears Nest in South. Guests experienced the artist's immersive works featuring several large-scale, multimedia installations, found objects, sculptures, tapestries, architectural assemblages, and videos. Engaging with the architecture of the Moody building through a disorientating, whimsical mode of display, Prouvost explores themes of eco-feminism and modern mythologies. The opening reception included a special vocal performance, starting at 6:45 p.m.
