David Krueger joins the Moody Center for the Arts as Preparator after serving in the same capacity at Rice Galley since 2001 where he worked with such artists as El Anatsui, Thorsten Brinkmann, and Judy Pfaff, among many others, on site-specific installations. At the Moody, he continues to work with visiting artists to facilitate the installation and maintenance of their work. He works closely alongside staff, students, and faculty to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative endeavors enabled by the Moody’s creative spaces, including the Makerspace. As an artist, Kreuger has exhibited nationally and taught a variety of classes. He earned a BFA in Sculpture and a MFA in Painting from the University of Houston.
